I'd posted a query regarding the new Globe Trekker intro last Fall – thanks for the response, Helen.
Two follow-up questions, if you don't mind:
1.) Is it possible to purchase/download the new theme?
2.) Episodes from 2007 seem to have a ragout of both new and old intros – any particular reason?
Again, any thoughts would be appreciated. |

OK we're planning to launch music downloads on GlobeTrekkerChannel.tv this summer so yes... you would be able to buy the new Globe Trekker theme. In total we have some 2,000 tracks available, many of which have not yet been published on CD.
So... watch this space...
As for "ragout" er... not sure what you mean? |

Kind of like a Globe Trekker iTunes.
iTrek?
And what I meant by ragout, was that some '07 episodes have the old intro – were they in production before the new intro was completed, or is my PBS affiliate running episodes out-of-sequence?
Just curious.
And thanks for the response. |

| OK the answer is that PBS broadcast our shows out of sequence, e.g. they air a selecton of episodes from over the years and compile their own series order. |

Roger, that.
Used to work for PBS, an 'organization' for whom that term is a bit of an oxymoron. Still, it's our pipeline to programs such as yours here in the Colonies.
Appreciate your help.
Best,
Joe |
