Anyone got a favourite Globe Trekker tune? Here's one of mine:

Mohammed's Call - inspired by memories of Morocco, from Globe Trekker Ambient Journeys

too difficult to narrow down. i have a playlist with about 20 GT songs from various CDs and i don't remember all the names (can't check now, in sri lanka!). great stuff, that composer really takes you places in those tunes. they really embellish the episodes too. i still don't tire of the (various incarnations of the) title track after 12 years!

Bingo! My thoughts exactly...this song was featured on Ian's NE Brazil episode, one of the earliest I recall ever seeing in the series.

Something about that song really hooked me...ended up getting six of the show's CDs. These tunes dominate my iPod.
